Pharmacovigilance is the set of activities aimed at the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other medicine-related problem.
It is a key activity in the ongoing monitoring of medicine safety. For this reason, at Laboratorios Richmond we work to ensure patient safety throughout the entire lifecycle of our products.
It is any undesirable medical occurrence that happens to a patient while receiving a medicine. It includes any unfavourable and unintentional sign or symptom temporally associated with the use of a medicinal product, whether or not related to it.
Every adverse event report, including those already known, provides valuable information and contributes to
improving the safe use of medicines.
If you are a healthcare professional, patient, caregiver or family member, and you are aware of or suspect an adverse event related to one of our products, or have any concern related to its safety, we invite you to contact our pharmacovigilance team:

A medication error is any preventable event that occurs during the medication use process — from prescription to administration — and that may cause patient harm or lead to inappropriate use of the medicine, regardless of whether such harm actually occurs. These errors may occur while the medication is under the control of healthcare professionals, patients or consumers, and are characterised by being potentially preventable.
We develop posters with clear and useful information to encourage the safe use of medicines. We invite you to download, share and display them in pharmacies, hospitals and medical offices.
